Once you're happy to go ahead, we’ll agree an installation date that suits you. We always aim to work around your schedule and keep disruption to a minimum.
3. What to expect on installation day
Our fitters arrive on time ready to get started. Most installations are complete in just one day.
You don’t need to move out, take time off work, or worry about mess. We treat your home with respect, and we clean up before we leave.
4. Aftercare and peace of mind

The Ambivo Engineering Standard

1. Precision Timber Battening
The foundation of the system is a primary 22mm timber batten framework fixed directly to your existing aluminium glazing bars.
• Thermal Breathing: This creates a vital air gap between your existing roof and the new insulation.
• Structural Integrity: By fixing to the bars, we ensure a lightweight yet secure foundation for the entire installation.
2. The ConservaHeat Multifoil Layer
Next, we install our exclusive, trademarked ConservaHeat® insulation quilt, specifically engineered for high-temperature fluctuations.
• Radiant Reflection: The true aluminium layers reflect 98% of radiant energy back into the room.
• Vapour Control: This layer acts as a continuous barrier, eliminating the risk of condensation and dampness.
3. Secondary Supporting Framework
A secondary timber batten is installed over the insulation to "sandwich" the system in place.
• The "Open State": This framework allows the quilt to naturally loft into its open state between fixings.
• Double-Gap System: This ensures the system remains tensioned and creates the critical secondary air gap required for maximum thermal efficiency.
4. Internal Finish & Professional Electrics
The final layer is out maintenance-free, wood-grain PVC-u tongue and groove finishing board.
• Lightweight Design: Unlike heavy plasterboard, our PVC-u system is flexible and will not crack due to natural roof movement.
• Integrated Lighting: Our team professionally reinstates your existing fixtures or installs new LED spotlights for a modern finish.

• Is there a lot of mess?
We treat your home with respect and ensure all waste is removed. Because we don’t use "wet" materials like plaster, the room is ready to use immediately.
